June 3 - "A Day in Chicago"

Join us as we explore downtown Chicago's most renowned food venues. The day trip includes organized events including Logan Square Market (Featured in Bon Appetit and Midwest Living as one of the top artisan markets in America), The Hop Leaf Bar (Bib Gourmand winner/venue) and the Graham Elliot Restaurant (Michelin Star venue). There were be some free time to shop between events. We will depart al corso at 8am on Sunday, June 3, and will return at approximately 11pm. Cost includes private, round-trip transportation; gourmet breakfast, lunch and snacks; a visit to Logan Square Market; a private beer tasting at The Hop Leaf; and special dinner at Graham Elliot Restaurant. Learn Italian at al corso

Communicate in Italian clearly and easily with this beginner Spring/Summer Italian class held at al corso restaurant. Class dates are June 4, 12, 19 and 26, 2012. Payment is due by the first class and can be made by cash or check. Classes will be held from 6:00-7:30 pm. Cost is $110 per person. Included in the course are four 90-minute classes, a textbook for each student, and a glass of wine at each class. Contemporary America Cuisine

al corso means "at the main street" in Italian. Don't let that fool you. Our recipes are contemporary American. Our quaint, beautifully restored 1800's restaurant seats 46 comfortably.
