How to Register for Special Events

 

Call (920) 772-4056 to register in advance for all events listed below. Payment is required upon registration. Refunds are not available. All sales are final. Should you need to cancel prior to an event and after having paid, you are welcome to find another individual to take your place. Please notify the restaurant as soon as possible in this event. 

 

Al corso reserve's the right to cancel an event at any time. Should an event be cancelled due to weather or low attendance, al corso will issue a refund.

 

Early Bird Event Registration

 

Register for three or more events at the same time and receive a $20 promo gift certificate to al corso. Sign up for four or more events at the same time and receive a $20 promo gift certificate to al corso and a $25 gift card to Belly BBQ.

Description: Gruner Veltliner … Blaufrankisch … not only are the names of some of Austria’s wines difficult to pronounce, but they risk flying under your wine-tasting radar if you haven’t had the opportunity to familiarize yourself with them. Archeological evidence has shown that wine growing in Austria goes back almost 4,000 years ago and thrived under Roman times! What are you waiting for!

 

At our Explore Austria Wine Tasting we will dig into Austrian winemaking and history, as well as learn more about the popular grape varietals and most famous producers. Participants will leave with a newfound appreciation for Austrian wines and the confidence to pull a bottle off the shelf at the grocery store to share with their friends and family!

Saturday, February 13: Valentine’s Weekend Celebration  - Fixed Menu

Cost: $90/person, five-course meal (includes tax and gratuity)

Max 40 seats available.

 

Time: Cocktails at 6:00 PM (cash bar) & Dinner at 6:30 PM

 

Description: Chef Dave will be preparing a heart-warming five-course meal to celebrate Valentine's Day. Each course will be carefully paired with sparkling wine, wine, and a digestif. Guests that join us on Valentine’s Weekend will receive our annual Valentine’s Day Card with a special gift inside! (Limit one Valentine’s Day card per check.)

Monday, February 22: Organic, Biodynamic, and Sustainable Wine Dinner

Cost: $75/person (includes tax and gratuity)

Description: What's the difference between organic, biodynamic, and sustainable wines? Or how about an organic wine and a wine made with organic grapes? Being a conscious wine buyer these days can be difficult, especially with the range of production styles out there, not to mention mastering the terminology. At this five-course wine dinner, not only will we taste a range of organic wines, but we will also learn more about organic, biodynamic, and sustainable wine practices. In line with the sustainable theme of this wine dinner, Chef Dave will also feature a sustainable dinner menu and give tips for bringing earth-conscious cooking practices into your kitchen!

Description: The Loire Valley is one of the trending wine markets as of late, and with good reason. Fantastic wines at affordable prices could very well be its tagline. Chenin Blanc, a white grape variety, is one of the region's shining stars. One of the unique attributes of this wine is its ability to taste either dry or sweet. At this wine tasting we will look at the wide range of Chenin Blancs from the Loire Valley, as well as how they compare to a Chenin Blanc from South Africa.

Description: What better way to jump into Spring than to taste some of Italy's best white wines from the Friuli region! This north-eastern reagion of Italy borders Austria, Slovenia, and the Adriatic Seat, and currently boasts 11 DOCs and 3 DOCGs. This region stands out from other Italian wine-producing regions as it produces a range of non-traditional wines such as Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Pinot Bianco. This wine dinner will also feature a five-course, Italian-themed meal.

Description: This whiskey tasting is for whiskey connoisseurs of all levels! We will delve into the world of American bourbons, ryes, and Tennessee whiskies, with a special focus on small-batch producers. Description: We are excited to showcase one of our area's newest additions to the beer-making seen at our Fall Beer Dinner! Badger State Brewing, a craft microbrewery, was founded in 2013 by three Green Bay natives, and is the first brewery located in the Lambeau Field "Stadium District." Representatives from Badger State Brewing will be on premise to introduce and present their current line-up of beers.

Monday, November 14: Oregon Pinot Noir Dinner

Description: There is a reason why well-financed outsiders from France and California are buying up land, vineyards, and wineries in Oregon. The grapes (and wines they produce) are just that good! Join us for our Pinot Noir-focused dinner as we explore one of the world’s most stubborn and difficult grapes to grow. Learn about the unique terroir that is giving pinot noir a name outside of Burgundy, and the steps Oregon has taken since 1965 to successfully establish itself on the wine world map today. In addition to tasting five of Oregon’s most renowned pinot noirs, guests will also be treated to a game-themed five-course meal, the perfect pairing for the middle of Fall.

Description: ‘Tis the season for holiday celebrations. What would a holiday party be without a bottle of bubbly? Our holiday sparkling wine tasting will feature five types of sparkling wine from around the world such as champagne, Prosecco, cava, and more. Participants will have an opportunity to expand their knowledge on how sparkling wine came to be, the different methods of production, how to read and understand a sparkling wine label, and how to select the perfect level of sweetness for your palate.
